Destiny 2 Shadowkeep is finally here, and some of the campaign's early quests are purposefully obtuse. While making your way through the Essence of Failure quest, you'll be asked to complete Activities on the Moon while getting Auto-Rifle kills. There is one mysterious request, though, and that's "Captive Cord found." In this guide, we direct you towards the Lunar Battlegrounds for the Captive Cord's location.
To find the Captive Cord, spawn here at Sorrow's Harbor.
Follow the path forward, peel off to the right and you'll eventually come to this bridge. Make your way over it, and you'll arrive at the Lunar Battlegrounds. Longtime Destiny fans may recall this location as the Moon PvP map from the original Destiny.
You'll encounter a bunch of adds, but blast through those and head up the hill to your left. You'll arrive at these buildings.
Go to the tower on the right, and hop up to the roof. As you approach, a diamond will point you to the item's exact location. This is the Captive Cord you're looking for. Pick it up, and, as long as you completed all other Essence of Failure quest steps, the Arc Logic is yours.
The Arc Logic is an Adaptive Frame Auto Rifle, which means it has a well-rounded grip that's reliable and sturdy. Beyond that, its perks can vary, but it excels at being a sturdy gun with fast reloads. It's a solid gun for PvP and PvE alike, and it has a decent number of possible rolls to consider. You can read more about those in the roundup below.
Possible Perks
With these perks in mind, the Arc Logic is a fairly average Auto Rifle that should only be pursued if you don't have a good one in your loadout already. Something like Gnawing Hunger would likely serve Guardians better in most cases. The Arc Logic certainly won't be the best gun in all of Destiny 2, but it's a cool-looking weapon for Guardians to collect as they begin their journey around the Moon in Shadowkeep.
Destiny 2 is available now on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
