Geordie Shore's Aaron Chalmers is 'blacking out' his whole body in new tattoo craze

AARON Chalmers is continuing to cover up all over his tattoos with black ink and has told concerned fans "it's my body".

The 31-year-old MMA fighter is known for his colourful collection of body art, but he's decided on a drastic change to his look.

After covering up his arm inkings, he shared a picture of his neck being filled in, with the comment "Now waiting for the real work to start!"

He followed it with a post very clearly answering fans questioning his decision.

Aaron wrote: "Why am I blacking my tattoos out???? Simple. Because it's my body and I want to! Don't let it ruin your day."

Last month the former Geordie Shore star claimed a fight with ex WWE man CM Punk would be a step down and he is eyeing big money fights in America.

Chalmers won his fourth MMA fight in May but is already setting his sights on a big career in the sport.

The star, who has signed with Bellator, has been tipped to face UFC's CM Punk after his defeat to Mike Jackson earlier in June.

But Chalmers thinks he is a class above the former WWE star and said: "I think after watching Punk's last performance and watching mine it does look like a heavily mismatched fight.

"I only want fight fights that are going to be a step up for me - I think Punk now is a step down and that ain’t for me!"

Chalmers impressed Michael 'Venom' Page, who claimed the reality TV star looked a natural fighter in his BAMMA debut and can both take and throw a shot.

With such high praise, it is no wonder Chalmers has big targets and is committed to his new career.

He added: "It’s always nice to get kind words from the likes of MVP and I’ll be honest I think I've surprised myself more then anyone else.

"When we first started, we didn’t have much of a plan or targets but now we have signed to Bellator, I’m a professional fighter that lives in the gym to better myself and chase them big money fights in America and just see how far I can go in the sport!"

This confidence was on display when he called out UFC star Mike Jackson and the pair engaged in a Twitter feud.

But when quizzed on a potential boxing fight following David Haye's retirement, Chalmers was open to the possibility.

He said: "I haven’t spoken to David much about a boxing match but if he wanted me on one of his shows then I’d certainly look into it without a doubt."
